MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies udner 6 years of age. Keep this product out of recah of babies.  If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.  <br/>

USES:  Vitamins are the building blocks of the body.  They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.  <br/><br/>

HOW TO USE:  Take as direcetd. <br/><br/>Food may affect the absorption of certain vitaimn products.  However,  vitamin porducts may be best taken with food.  <br/><br/>Consult your pharmacist.   

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medication may cause mild nuasea or unpleasant taste. <br/><br/>Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become sveere.  <br/>If you notice other effcets not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.  

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megalbolastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).   

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescrpition and nonprescription drugs you may use.  Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.  <br/>

OVERDOSE:  If ovedrose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.   Symptoms of overdose may incldue unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.  <br/>

NOTES:  Three are many vitamin supplement products available.  Some can be purchaesd without a prescription.  Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.  <br/><br/>

MISSED DOSE:  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose. <br/><br/>Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule. <br/><br/>Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
